Phoromatic System Names

I'm in the process of configuring an automated Phoromatic setup, so I have my Phoromatic account automatically approve new systems when they connect. It seems to automatically name the system after its operating system... so I have a bunch of systems named 'ubuntu'. Of course I can change it manually, and I can still identify them based on IP address, but I was just wondering if there's any way to customize the naming convention automatically used by Phoromatic.

By default it's using the system's hostname. There isn't an easy way to change the naming convention, but if you have a good idea about doing so, I could probably implement it.
