Hi I want to test/compare CPU usage and other performance-affecting factors of different builds of MPlayer. As a basic example I could run MPlayer builds on a video file of about 10 minutes each with separate timespace and compare results. And of course I would like it to be presented by charts. How should I do this? Even a basic guide would be helpful. Thanks.
I actually plan to compare other softwares as well but I target MPlayer for now at least to know the basics of running tests with PTS first. I could also do shell scripting and php. If those are needed for the solution I won't mind.
