How to modify PTS live to add disk benchmarks?

How hard would it be to modify the PTS live and add the DISK benchmark, and then a menu listing partitions found that can be tested against?

I'd like to benchmark NTFS drives on Win Server/Vista & Win 7 machines, but need a way to run the disk benchmark and tell it what drive/partition to run on.

Is there a easy and safe way (with out fragging the drives data) to do this?
