I took a look at my ~/.phoronix-test-suite/download-cache folder (which has a majority of the tests downloaded) and the total of all files that have an obvious name- or -extension match for Windows and Mac files (.exe, .dmg, *win*, *mac*, *osx*, etc.) only amount to about 4GB, at least for my setup.

+1 to the question.
The aggregate total of unneeded downloads is significant, though it's not clear if the effort to do additional tooling to PTS is a high priority given everything else Michael has on his plate.

Hello.
Thanks for reading my topic.
I see when selecting some benchmarks to download are selected Linux benchmarks files and exe files too.
I want only use the Phoronix Test Suite Linux version.
Example
If selecting to download "GPUTest" are downloaded :
GpuTest_Linux_x64_0.7.0
GpuTest_Windows_x64_0.7.0.zip
Really is correct and need download both Linux and exe files if only need the Linux version ?
Linux not run exe files.
That's a problem or really is an requirement ?
Thanks for reply.Tags: None
