Extremely slow download of blender test

I'm trying to install the blender test and got abyssimal download-rates of around 66kbit - running for around 3 hours already. Other tests download just fine, so i assume it's something wrong with the blender-source? Is there anything i can do about it?

You could download the blender files from another mirror and just drop them into ~/.phoronix-test-suite/download-cache/ when you then go to install blender, PTS will pick them up from there.

It was the file "cycles_benchmark_20160228.zip" - downloading it from http://ftp.vim.org/ftp/pub/ftp/graph...der/demo/test/ worked, the rest of the files are downloading OK.

where ever that file "cycles_benchmark_20160228.zip" is coming from is extremely slow I took an hr cat nap to find the installation hanged on that file resuming using the ftp ftp.vim.org/ftp/pub/ftp/graphics/blender/demo/test/
got me going

The cycles_benchmark_20160228.zip and barbershop_interior_cpu.blend / barbershop_interior_gpu.blend are still very slow to download. Can we swap the mirror directly? Workaround still works nicely
