Of course there are virtual desktops in Xubuntu. You're just too ignorant to know any better. Or in too deep in debian-xfce to know anything else. Or maybe you're a plain liar. Or more likely, you're just some guy's trolling experience, since you're too surreal to be an actual person.

By the way, in Xubuntu just go to System Settings=>Workspaces to enable how many virtual desktops you like.

At one point he actually posted about his kid having to switch DE because they didn't like the default file manager. So yeah, configuring the (now famous) whisker menu seems to be as far as he can go. And I honestly think that's ok, if only he stopped parroting the same thing over and over and over again. And again. And again.

debianxfce....... nothing you said is true. I've had xubuntu on a netbook like device for 6 years now and can confirm that yu are full of it.

Canonical has disabled many Xfce features, for example there is no virtual desktops and you can not add one. Other dummy tweaks there are too. So the name of the desktop in xubuntu is not Xfce.

It only works if you use the AMD wip kernel... *rolls eyes*
