Do Croteam and Valve test with this driver on Intel hardware? I guess they won't bother with it until they feel it's in a good state.

Also shame the Vulkan benchmarks were not run for the GTX 1060 review. A lot of people were not happy that most of the GTX 1060 launch day reviews on many websites omitted modern graphics API (Vulkan and DX12) results.

Intel's normal driver is fine, this is Vulkan specific brokenness. AMDs issues were far more wide-spread too, mainly due to delays with Xorg and Kernel compatibility. Anyway...

Intel's Vulkan driver is broken in general at the moment. Using Jason Ekstrand's special repo allowed some things to get a bit further when I tested, but everything was still far too broken to use. e.g. here's RetroArch's Vulkan N64 renderer on AMD (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_y3XB_EW1ak) and here it is with Jason's patches on Intel Gen 8 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlQ27OZXD0E).

I hope it doesn't take too long for it to reach a usable state, but currently it's quite far from it.
