Fylfot and gammadion probably still available.
While not the last expropriation of an ancient symbol its use, given recent history, is perhaps not in the best taste.

Smacks of someone desperate to create drama. I suspect it's a sock puppet account for someone here, or somebody who got banned.

You seem very misinformed. Swastika is a multi cultural symbol used widely by millions of people in Asia and Africa. It is also is the direct name of plenty of people as Uber learned the hard way recently. You don't get to appropriate a symbol that was used for thousands of years before that misappropriation and insist that people who have using it all along are doing it wrong. That smacks of bigotry. Stick to the topic of the news next time instead of dumb speculation.

The origin of the symbol is well known.
Nevertheless, in the cultural area of this news page the meaning of this symbol has changed. Thus, it is not surprising that people are suspicious. This has nothing to do with bigotry.

Just saying you joining April out of all the months of the year is pretty suspicious to most people. But I assume it just bad timing and a coincidence, I hope.

There are some people who pay more weight to the misappropriations than the origins. That doesn't change the meaning for the vast majority of the world. They are continuing to use it as they always have done so and so have I. Get over it.

I doubt that joining in March or May would have made an iota of difference. This all looks like reading tea leaves and insinuating something without any evidence.

Everyone knows the history of it, and everybody knows why it's used today. Just like I thought, you are creating drama around it. Thanks for confirming.

You brought the name into the discussion, pretended it was drama and you can convinced yourself that you are right. My name is a cultural symbol used by millions of people. It is not just history. You are free to remain ignorant if that suits you more.

Feel free to do it, but you shouldn't be surprised if people react to you in a wrong way. In my country signs used by National Socialism are forbidden. The use of the swastika is punishable in all variants, except if the form of representation shows a clear rejection of the ideology of National Socialism.

I don't know what your personal reasons are for using this nickname, but clearly you must understand why people are suspicious.
