      It's not used considering you can get a superior experience without this flatpak garbage. Waste is not going far enough, should be "crippled" disk space.

        well... if you really struggle that much with root fs space just dont use them.
        i enjoy the benefits i get from flatpaks.

          I had to clean up 2 computers in the last 6 months because of flatpak.
          The very same symptom made 2 people call me for help : system update fails, no space left.
          "I don't get get, I don't have much files stored in my home dir and didn't install anything since long ago".
          Not the first time this happens.

          I myself had issues when I used flatpak years ago.
          Now it's just disabled on my own computers, unless I need (want is not enough) something specific.
          I can't help but think of flatpak distributed software as a last resort.
