Finally it happened. Had to use gvfs compatible FM to access phone documents.

UPD: Built lib only part on current KF 5.100 and it is working great

This is very important.

Apple goes out of its way to lock up its devices, but their prevalence is far and wide. We need more "mainstream" ways of accessing routine data such as photos on the devices. Hopefully this will work or continue to work across multiple generations of these devices as Apple invents new ways to lock people out.

(By mainstream, I simply mean a major desktop package or well known project providing this functionality, not just some one-off script by one single developer on github that hasn't been updated in 8 months. That's not a confidence builder)

Not every Linux user has family members willing to also be Linux users.

Besides, I doubt it's 1:1 Linux users on their computer who carry Linux phones. So either some/most Linux users have either Android, Apple, or no phone at all.

Fun fact: GNOME decided AFC shouldn't be used and only mount PTP by default which is only for pictures. Useless.

Most will have Android for sure, but not all of them. My phone, for example, has Ubuntu Touch.
