    I wish Nvidia would finally provide a working console mode with their proprietary drivers. Their work-around still does not work reliably with all hardware.

        Wishful thinking.

        One reason I bought into Intel Arc.

        However like many others, I tend to prefer nomodeset when working within virtual terminals, as the modeset mode tends to always make fonts too small for readability by default and slows terminal performance, etc. (Although font sized can be workaround, is tedious.)
