Without entering in the merits of the existence of Outreachy, this time they have some useful/user-facing projects, which is good

Nah, I just call them bigots. After all, that's the definition of someone who discriminates according to gender and/or race.

Right, we should all just ignore inequality and that will make it go away. Anyone who acknowledges it is a bigot. Good thinking..

Outreachy is not fixing the causes for inequality, it is just creating opposite inequality, which is still bad.

Actually you need so called positive discrimination for folks that are under represented to make changes happen.

Having only ignorant male users commenting here is really a shame.

There would be no Outreachy if equality would be a present thing. Have you ever thought about that?

There will be no equality if it's up to Outreachy.

Complete bullshit, the same discrimination will still happen in the same places regardless of Outreachy, because the only way to fight discrimination is removing/punishing those that discriminate, not make your own parallel reverse-discrimination program.

There would be no PETA if animals were treated decently. Have you thought about that?

(for those that don't get this, PETA is not doing anything to fix the issue, they are just making stunts and attention-whoring to get donations, plus they have some funny 90-ish % percentage of euthanizations over the animals that get into their custody)
