Sorry droid, but I don't buy that. Being Chinese is no excuse for not understanding and keeping to ANY license. You can't tell me they - as computer people - would not understand the meaning of a GPL. You can't code if you are unable to read and undestand some English. Most literature in science is written in English. No, they know what they are doing.

Allwinner screwed up massively. They are probably FREAKING out over this GPL violation. They have a pile of code that they CAN'T release, that they MUST release, and its too late to fix the problem because the code has already shipped.

I rather think they don't give a flying f*.
