Lowlatency test request...
Michael,
since the Phoronix Test Suite supports latency related tests for quite some time now, I wonder why this wasn't done yet?
Anyway, what I (and I'm sure a lot of others) would like to see is whether there is really a measurable difference between different kernel configurations.
Therefore, I would really appreciate it if You could test the generic Ubuntu kernel against the one called 'lowlatency' in the Ubuntu repositories. Bonus points if You could also throw in the SteamOS kernel into the mix!
All of this on the range of hardware You have & I think we all could have a really interesting article to talk about!
