Thoughts on the electricity cost of DRM (content restrictions)

I'm trying to determine how much electricity is used via Widevine DRM (or wasted silicon).

I tried using my KillAWatt but all the demos for Widevine I could find are only 3-10 minutes long which isn't enough time to get much significance on my desktop pc. Also ideally, you'd play the exact same long video for both (which seems to rule out using videos that are already in YouTube/Netflix/etc).

Any ideas?
