      You are forgetting one important thing. Nobody in Enterprise uses GN*OME as is by default. They had to introduce a "Classic mode" which is the default for enterprise solutions since standard gnome is unusable. Its an admission that Gnome is a failure.

      Also G*nome as not chosen because its better, but because Redhat has greater control over it and GTK.
