    The entire point of XWayland is to be backwards compatible as far as any client applications are concerned, which means by definition it's entirely within the X.Org project. Mesa just has normal X code, and the implementation of how that works is for X to decide.

    Do you mean full screen apps that do not render until you set them to window mode with borders? This one is fixed in the latest xorg update and all games work fine now for me on xwayland!

    We haven't been seeing as much GLAMOR activity these days but then again the pace of X.Org Server development has certainly slowed up in recent years. GLAMOR as a reminder allows for X.Org Server 2D acceleration to happen in a generic manner via OpenGL / GLES and has been a common area for improvement...
