Does anybody know if the LLVM patches for vega are already merged upstream?

If they are, this would only leave the kernel parts to be missing in vanilla upstream, which would be pretty impressive concerning the amounts of code and short time period all the patches are public.

What i like most these days is all the different names in AMD patches.
AMD has many developers contributing to Linux open source.

Most of the LLVM changes landed a while ago (before the driver code was released).
