Any news on ATI fglrx 8.42?

I can "prove" it's not this week:

The release date is always a surprise.

According to recent posts, it may be this week. Logically, it will be either Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. If it gets to Friday, however, we will know it's going to be released then so it won't be a surprise, which is impossible.

If we eliminate Friday from the list, and we get to Thursday, we will know it's going to be then, and then it won't be a surprise. So it can't be Thursday either.

But it can't be Wednesday by the same logic, or today...

Therefore, it can't be released this week, and you can all go home now. QED.

If it is then released this week, it will be a surprise because we're not expecting it per above, which is legal.

So where am I going wrong?

I think we've all waited a very long time for this. While I agree we would rather have a working than broken driver, I think ATI has had a long time to work on and perfect this version. They are literally losing advocates and loyal fans by the day while they sit on this release.
