I'm surprised that in quite a few benchmarks, the AMD FX 8320E is besting the FX 8350. I guess that power tweaking they did paid off.

That i5-520M result is so bad it looks like one core is switched off; it's half the I3-370m result. Fails the Dixon's outlliers test I'm afraid.

that i5 520M system is a MacBook Pro, and does get rather warm by default, so it may be downclocking or something.

Michael, you might want to root cause that as hot running laptops are not good for those brittle tin BGA solder joints.
