    Also, the support for up to 192gb ram is largely academic as i doubt there will ever be a laptop with that much ram.

    To me this is intel just cleaning out their inventory.
    UHD Graphics 700-series = Low-end Xe (Arc) GPU. All current Intel GPU products use the Xe architecture and drivers.

    192GB = 2 x 96GB DDR5 SODIMMs, which is the highest capacity they can lab test with at this time and that capacity will increase as time goes by and manufactured memory density goes up. I assure you that someone will be using 192-256GB in the next few years, especially since the move to DDR6 is coming soon.
