Spoken like a true american expressing his wet dreams of Europe being america's butler for its proxy wars. No thanks, keep your imperialism to yourselves.

I'm originally European, now living in Australia. What I express here is nothing more or less than the very European motto expressed long before me by Julius Caesar: Si vis pacem, para bellum - If you want peace, prepare for war. You might believe that by being all kind and nice and touchy feely and caring only about climate change will make Putin stop and think oh wait, I will not invade Poland and the Baltic states and Slovakia and Czechia after all, they only use their computers for climate change. But I'm afraid the real world doesn't work like that.

Weapons deter aggression. An aggressor does not attack unless they're reasonably certain they can win. Global tensions are rising, and aggressors like China and Russia are making massive investments in military modernization. It would be a prudent time for peace-loving western civilizations to invest more in their defense, or risk becoming the next Ukraine.

BTW, these same aggressors are also some of the largest polluters on Earth, far more so than America or Europe.

Exactly. Today's reality is that there will be no peace for you (or climate change research for that matter) if you are enslaved by the USSR 2.0. And to prevent that you need weapons that are crushingly superior to Russia's both in technology AND QUANTITY.

True, but Europe has a bigger problem than that, it's not energy-independent and it continues to finance Russia.
Russia would not be as strong and have money to develop and buy so many weapons if Europe didn't give so much money to them.

Considering Russia is right now in the process of invading another country for reasons that boil down to pure imperialism and delusions of Jewish nazis it's pretty clear who the real imperialists are here...

Let's not even go into how they went to the U.S and demanded a new Molotov-Ribbentrop pact type agreement with clearly marked spheres of imperialist interest where the U.S wouldn't intervene. Russia's made it's intentions extremely clear and as a result both EU's failing defense pact has been reinvigorated and NATO has returned to it's original purpose. There's a reason why Russia's basically alone with the closest thing to allies being countries like India and China taking full advantage of Russian oil and gas now sold at discounted rates.

Accusing others of doing what they do themselves.

Oh hey, a new spin on it: now it's not accusing Russia of what the U.S does, it's accusing it of not being as good.

So since you are clearly all very very ignorant of politics, here's some facts for you:

                - The prime instigator and winner of the Russia-Ukraine war is the U.S and no other. Europe as its whole has lost peace, a solid economic link with a very raw material rich partner, and has now to deal with a pointless war. Russia has lost its growth and any kind of prospect within the global market. Ukraine is literally under assault. The only winner here is the U.S, who has forced its European servants to bow down to NATO command and buckle itself for a war with Russia, where it will gain nothing, and lose needlessly, only to end up further and further at the beck and call of NATO's master, which is of course the U.S.

                - The way the U.S instigated the Ukraine war is by placing a puppet government and encouraging it to attack Russia as much as possible. If you want to see the matter of that, simply look up the Azov Battalion, which is an outspoken neo-nazi paramilitary group that has been directly incorporated in the Ukrainian armed forces years ago, and has been accused many times of outright assault and massacres on the separatist Russian-speaking regions of east Ukraine.

                - The main goal of this war is to severely disrupt any kind of possible friendship between western Europe and Russia, so that the only """"""friend"""""" the western Europeans can afford to have are a weak-willed and bureaucratic EU with no political goals, and an aggressive and militarily strong U.S with an agenda. In clear terms, the goal is to force the Europeans to be the U.S's butlers as much as it is to harm Russia as a potential imperial competitor.

                - You stated that "Russia tried to have a sphere of influence" in front of the U.S as some sort of proof that they're the aggressor. Now this is the most american and deluded thing I've ever heard: when the U.S has dominant control of all of western Europe, the Americas, several countries in Asia, and they want to grow to Poland, Finland, Sweden, Ukraine, and after installing a puppet government in Ukraine, they have that government constantly engage in small scale war at Russia's border, this is fine and not aggressive, but when Russia states very openly that they consider their borders to be indisputable and they will not let NATO install its boots and weapons at their door, that's aggression? This is beyond delusional, you're literally accusing them of defending their borders from american imperialism as some sort of crime, but the U.S implanting its armed forces right by Russia's doorstep is all good to you.

                - The estimated chief reason for the war in Ukraine is the general american imperialism and its greed in always getting every single country on Earth under its thrall, but there is another more economic reason called NordStream2. This pipeline would have allowed a free trade link between Western Europe and Russia for oil and gas. It meant a great independence from american imperialism over Eastern Europe, where they enjoy great popularity due to being seen as a bulwark against Russia. If anything, they have proven that they'll risk Ukraine to have a war on its soil just to have NATO bases there, so I would certainly rethink that policy if I were Eastern EU. This is a war to ensure that american dominance in Europe stays strong, and that Russian influence is entirely obliterated. If Ukraine has to burn for it, the americans don't care one bit.

And I could go on with the drivel you have all posted here. "USSR 2.0", as if it were the Russians that ordered the americans to block all transfers to Russia because Russia wouldn't let itself get besieged with NATO bases on its doorstep. The day Russia holds dozens of thousands of men in Mexico at the american border, then you can talk about aggression.

The instigator, winner, and warmonger here, is the United States and no other. If you had at least made the argument that it's better for Ukraine to be under an American puppet govt rather than a Russian one, then I wouldn't have called this pure propaganda, but it is pure propaganda. You accuse a nation of being imperialist for securing its border from the attack of an actual empire that projects its power an ocean an entire continent away, and doesn't care if it has to use unsavory paramilitary groups to do its dirty work. You claim to have been European, well I'm glad you left, because clearly you understand nothing of Europe's situation, and you would sooner rush us into eternal servitude with an actual imperialist rather than look up a map and listen to both sides.

You are such a brainwashed delusional retard that I won't even bother refuting this bullshit.

In fact, there's a very simple way to show it. Who gives a shit who instigated it? If someone threatens/instigates you, and you shoot him in the head, YOU ARE STILL THE MURDERER.

And no amount of your blabbering will justify that.
