    Pretty sure intel_pstate=powersave will still be garbage with 5.18 (either doesn't save power on slow devices or causes stutter on fast ones). Really wished some noteworthy maintainer or Linus himself would do away with these shenanigans by making intel_pstate=passive the default setting.

      Defaulting to intel_pstate=passive is only half of the equation unfortunately, because that way schedutil becomes the new default governor, which is hardly any better than Intel's weird powersave one, both in function & name.
