    Arctic Cooling do sell a 120mm cooler for Epyc on 4U chassis, the "Freezer 4U SP3":

      Wow that's super nice! I wonder why Noctua does not do something like that! One thing is that they reuse their usual fans (which also make them easily replaceable) while those fans are very specific.

        Maybe i'm out of he loop but would anyone ever actually use such a thing in a real build? For a processor like the one tested, wouldn't your only real choice be water cooling?

              Those fans just look like they clip on. You could likely rig up any fans you wanted using a few zip ties and maybe some anti-vibration pads.

              Less, IIRC.

              But the primary advantage of thick fans is improved static pressure.
