I wouldn't expect that to make much of a difference in gaming workloads, and the fact that Intel still largely beats out the competition there while having ctx_clock 4x higher than AMD would seem to back that up.

Yes, and that very clearly does have a major impact on game performance.

Well, "far" superior might be a stretch at this point because Zen2 made a lot of improvements, but it's still slower. Maybe Zen3 and the change to their CCX design will improve things again enough to catch up.
