  • ASUS px979 vs MSi99 SLI+

    Hello

I've been reading very good reviews on the MSI99s SLI+ motherboard here, but I like to know how it compares to the ASUS px979 Deluxe or WS as far as Linux goes.

I haven't seem a review on teh ASUS motherboad here, in such case, I look to have an idea of it's stability and performance with Intel i7 and 64MB of RAM.

InternetRush: Yes, Asus does have an ultra version. But I dont get why people want it. Why get nForce4 if you dont get SLI?

well, I love Linux but I have a un-usual problem of the system getting lock at random times/days. So building a new system that I know will be expensive makes want to research as much as I can, I know the X99 chipset is new, suppose to be the successor to the X/) chipset, also the type of memory from DDR3 to DDR4, etc.. with info on the web (and manufacturers websites) I can pick compatible pieces as far as hardware goes, just want to be sure it works good with Linux.
