Still waiting on them to release a stable Intel 12th Gen BIOS. Both for security and so that I can use the new larger battery size. Wish they put in more effort in software than keep releasing new hardware. I mean I would be reasonably happy if their Intel Boards they work with Intel for the Intel VBIOS so that they release them timely instead of having beta BIOSes.

Does that mean we can install Coreboot on existing laptops one day?

This is pretty welcome news given the failure of Framework to support their machines post-launch. Switching to open firmware hopefully will allow them to push BIOS updates faster and with more reliability vs the updates that currently don't exist for 12th gen, 13th gen and AMD platforms.

Well, even if it's not US nor CA but EU based, a collaboration with Dasharo would be more productive IMHO.
