This is awesome, and good timing as System76 has a back-to-school sale on a bunch of their Corebooted laptops right now.

Getting rid of MSI's craptastic firmware is clearly a big plus. If only I could do the same thing with this desktop I'm on (AMD board). Pity I can't justify nor afford to buy a completely new system based on MSI's much publicized problematic firmware alone (with yet a new issue exposed just this week, albeit a minor one this time affecting only one model and only if someone installed August's Windows 11 preview update)... at least mine runs smoothly other than the much publicized issues with their firmware (bugs with the secure boot and other minor issues doesn't really affect my day to day use).
