You currently pay double for every GPU. Even old RX 560 cost their old MSRP price.
My Radeon VII is on ebay for between 1400 and 2700 bucks. Broken ones cost around 900.

Michael still no power consumption results? these tests really needs it. if what someone said that each card (amd/nvidia) report power in different ways you can always do a total system power consumption test.

Those are very nice results. As you said Nvidia fans, paid for the performance you get with the binary driver because it is "so much better then those lousy AMD drivers", and yes, what you see is what you get.

I myself have the burden to teach someone the linux basics and hell yea the nvidia driver is again nothing but a pain in the Arse.

Too bad you don't have a 3070 Michael . 3060 Ti vs 3070 vs 2080 Ti is the most interesting combo to watch this generation.

A Windows vs. Linux benchmark with the newest drivers for AMD would probably be interesting, it would be neat if Linux + RadeonSI outperformed everything else!

Finally, when it comes to gaming, there's no reason to buy Nvidia.
