Hi,
I want to ask what's overal experience with Radeon VII in linux so far? I mean mainly regression bugs with driver/mesa/kernel updates and so. I'm aware Michael has some serious troubles with Radeon VII right now, but if he is only one, it might be faulty GPU or something specific for test HW/SW stack.

I'm deciding between Raden VII and RTX 2080. Despite being long time nvidia user, happy with their binary linux drivers which "just works", radeon opensource drivers have improved significantly and maybe it might be time for a change. I just don't want to spend too much time tuning drivers, I plan to just use debian testing (Buster) opensource drivers (at this moment mesa 18.3, kernel 4.19).

GPU will be mainly used for some 4k linux gaming with occassional openCL workloads and video encoding.

Thanks.
