    I saw this blogpost and video some years ago - quite impressive, too.



    As btrfs is the newer filesystem, I'm pretty eager about the things to come.

      Not pull it while working but to remove one and time how long the rebuild takes on both mode 5 and 6.

      Also, how does the raid behave on a suspend-resume cycle ( given that other thing: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?pag...uspend-SteamOS ) ?

        Well, doing RAID out of usb drives is ... ahem, uncommon. Except everything esle, multi-disk RAID-enabled pool does not assumes you can just eject one drive in arbitrary way (which is what people usually expect from USB drives). At very least you have to move data away from drive (and it takes time, obviously).
