    Well, there is an ext2 driver for windows. It can mount ext3 and ext4 partitions, but only with ext2 capabilities. Even then file attributes and symlinks get screwed up.

      The ext implementations for windows that I've seen mount as ext3, and are wonky in terms of write support (reading is ok)

        For Ext filesystems there is "Paragon ExtFS for Windows". It does Read and write on my ext4 fs without issues so far.

        A big plus: It's free for personal use
