Hard disk failures after installing RAM module

hello, 2 days ago I've installed RAM module in my laptop. Since then I have to fsck and repair HDD partition on which Fedora is every time I wanna boot into it. To me those two things don't seem related, but I wanna hear some expert advices.

Also I don't know if it is related to my problem, but ever since I've installed Fedora in order to boot I had to edit grub boot option from "ro" to "rw" for some reason.

Install smartmontools and look for drive failures.

no errors, no RAM erros either
