Our last look at GraphicsMagick came when just resizing many images, where Fedora and Ubuntu returned to first and second, respectively. OpenSolaris was just behind the Linux distributions and FreeBSD 7.2/8.0 had performed the same.

Next up we ran the BYTE Unix Benchmark and looked at its Dhrystone 2 performance. OpenSolaris 2010.02 was the fastest here followed by Ubuntu 9.10, then the FreeBSD releases, and then Fedora 12.

The integer arithmetic performance in BYTE Unix Benchmark though told a different story where Ubuntu 9.10 came out in front followed by Fedora 12, FreeBSD 7.2, FreeBSD 8.0, and then OpenSolaris 2010.02.
