How to write a lockscreen for Wayland?

I would like to start writing a generic lockscreen for Wayland, that would be compositor-agnostic, and written in Qt (of which I have a good knowledge).

Any hints, tracks, or leads ? Thanks.

i really don't see a point in this as all desktops are going to have there own lockscreens MATE is going to be in GDK+ Gnome is going to be in GDK+ KDE's is going to be in Qt why not just use one of them?
