  • Problems enabling opengl 3.3 on r600g graphics with mesa 10.1 in Fedora.

I've posted about this in Fedora's forum as well as in their bugzilla but haven't gotten any replies yet so I'd like to run this by you all. After fedora updated their mesa packages to 10.1 my RV730 should have full openGL 3.3 support, according to the mesa changelog, but glxinfo still reports a core profile of opengl 3.1. The only thing I can think of is that there may be an extension that isn't enabled in fedora's build of mesa but I can't for the life of me find any information on it. This has been tested with their 3.13 and 3.14 kernels, mesa 10.1 with updated libdrm package, and X server 1.14.

Anyone know what the problem could be?

GL 3.3 = geometry shaders = need more recent kernel.
