I agree. Since 2.99.907 I've had a really good experience with each version. Hopefully this driver will be released in short order as 3.0 so that it can make it's way into mainline Linux distros because Haswell Graphics Hardware doesn't work for shit without it.

The font glitch is gone but there are some weird graphical artifacts where bars appear, boxes and buttons get misplaced, strips from a previous webpage overlay on top of the actual one, happens in scroll bars too... the font glitch was better >:/
