Screen flickers after being turned off?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. When using KMS and the radeon driver, the screen on my laptop is automatically turned off after a few minutes of inactivity. So far so good; the problem is that when I'm back on the system the screen flickers a lot for a while after being turned back on, until it eventually gets back to normal.

This is not an Xorg bug as it also happens if I boot my system without X. With modeset disabled the screen isn't even turned off, so there's no problem then.

Is there an official bugzilla for the radeon driver? I'd assume this bug is in kernel code, not Xorg.

I'm having also this kind of problem and i opened a bug report.

For me the problem only happens if I leave the laptop idle and only the screen is turned off. If I suspend it before that happens the screen will be fine.

Also the problem is 100% reproducible every time.
