I'm posting here because i'm hoping that someone know what is causing this bad crash.
In xbmc if i press exit or if i stop a clip (with a/v sync on) libgl.so badly crash.
Sometimes the screen got frozen until i reboot (during the shutdown the screen is corrupted), other times xbmc can dump the core and exit to shell.
Xbmc devs told me that they can't solve this because is deeply inside the fglrx driver.
System:
amd hd4200igp on a asus m4a785d-m pro
amd phenom II x2 555
2GB ram (512MB shared with video card)
I've tried also with my other pc with a 4870 and this don't happen.
It could be related to shared memory? (i remember a old issue with 3d app that can't use /dev/shm or /tmpfs)
P.S.: tested on ubuntu 9.10, 10.04, 10.10
catalyst 8.791 on 10.04, 10.10 don't know the versions of the one on 9.10 (it was a xbmc 9.11 live iso)
