Huge fps drop in HoN with 10.5

    I run it in fullscreen. I've tried windowed but it didn't make any difference.

      Disabling compiz when playing a game gives a fps boost in any games with fglrx 10.5. It didn't help just disabling catalyst AI for me neither.

        That's cause Compiz is not part of any distribution and there is no management (like in Windows) to deactivate it, if going 3D. So, it's always on, unless manually deactivate it...

        Guess the "Linux wasn't made with games in mind" still goes... It did made some progress regarding desktop distributions in the last 6 years, but still... low end system represent the majority.

          Just want to echo that the 10.5 release does break HoN for me on my Evergreen (HD5970) chip. It also breaks Savage 2, which is based on the same K2 engine as HoN (albeit an older version of it).

          Now I want a Fermi chip... this sucks...
