Hi,
My old Radeon 9800 died a couple of days ago, so i bought a Radeon HD3650 in its stead. I got most things working, somehow.
However I still have some problems with my refresh rate in the secondary display of the dual monitor setup... I have two LCDs, the primary is plugged in to a DVI port and the other to a VGA one. The problem is that the secondary display (older, smaller monitor) runs at a refresh rate of 75Hz and consequently it is quite blurry. I need to find a way to make it work at 60Hz again.
I fumbled around with xorg.conf and with the Catalyst Control Center and even tried KDE's System Settings, but none worked.
Here's xorg.conf. I'm well aware that it's as far as possible from being well written, with several autoconf tools writing to it from a time to time and with me editing it without knowing how to...
I am using the latest fglrx (manually installed from AMD's website), on the latest Ubuntu.
Here is the information on the secondary monitor, from the CCC:
Display Name: 2. HP L1706
Graphics Adapter: ATI radeon etc.
Maximum resolution: 1280 x 1024
Maximum Refresh Rate: 75Hz
Connector: VGA
Could you provide some guidance? Thanks!
