One of the newest features now present in the Phoronix Test Suite 1.2 (trondheim-12) branch of git is support for Solaris (primarily OpenSolaris 2008.05).
With OpenSolaris 2008.05 "Project Indiana" everything should almost work "out of the box" aside from test profiles that contain applications that aren't supported on Solaris Nevada. However, with this latest git code we're now almost at a feature parity between the Linux and OpenSolaris functions. Much of the hardware/software detection will also work. Last but certainly not least, PTS External Dependencies is also supported on OpenSolaris using IPS (the Image Packaging System).
If you haven't yet checked out the latest Trondheim 1.2 work, I'd suggest checking it out The basic list of changes in this branch so far can be found @ http://www.phorogit.com/index.php?p=...4773d0b2f15ac6
BSD support will likely come later (or sooner, if there is enough interest).
