    i think this affects mostly llvmpipe, at least i havent noticed any difference in opencl, vdpau, OpenGL, Wayland gnome 3.14, etc so far

      Well you can run piglit with current mesa compiled with llvm 3.5 and 3.6 and compare regressions . If your apps hit those functions, you know what will happen

      As always running piglit tests is always good indication how stable current GL stack is

        Well i rerun piglit with all current stack, it is fine now ... something got fixed in the past few days probably in llvm

            I do when an immediate change warrants such testing, but in general Oibaf has been doing a good job keeping up to date in his packaging... So it saves me time, avoids complications in certain Ubuntu configurations for breakage, and provides a much easier path for those then readers that ask "how do I get this?" when it can simply be said to "enable the Oibaf PPA", etc.

                No, oibaf doesn't use LLVM git so you should AVOID using his ppa.
