Hi all,
I have an interesting case scenario at my place of work.
We want to have 16 (or more) VMs (running on ESX) running RH6.3.
The idea will be, Oracle DB will be installed on a share host, then that Oracle directory will be shared out to all the VMs in this scenario. (We have space restrictions, otherwise this wouldn't have been suggested)
My colleagues wanted to run NFS on EXT4, but I figure we should be using a filesystem that's designed for multiple read/writes - so I suggest GFS2.
Are there any other FS suggestions that I could use for a setup like this? XFS, ZFS, etc
I'm also welcome to hear comments of, "It's not viable", etc.
