What to you mean? All distros have already switched to systemd except those who have a explicit policy of not using systemd (like devuan, gentoo etc)....

We already have systemd_kernel, that's Linux. It has implemented features specifically for systemd and systemd doesn't work with any other kernel....

With "configuration by code" the compiler might be able to optimise it for the particular task, especially if LTO is used. On the other hand...
