1. You don't have to use everything what systemd offers.
2. You can still replace...

systemd is not "one thing". It's modular. And yes, it does not only simplies distro development, but also the usage of different distros....

Actually I can't tell. I don't know if anybody can tell, because the filesystem is not available in other OS'....

This filesystem should be ported to other OS like OpenZFS, because the sad thing is, that nobody uses HAMMER2, because nobody uses DragonFlyBSD for serious...

Hopefully, this will once be the next generation free OS.
But I don't really like the MIT license. I think Apache V2 would have been the better...
