Why does the "Last Post" column always have such out-of-date information? There can be a topic with say 3 pages of discussion and if you go to that section of the forum to view all the posts, the "last post" will point to a post at like the end of the first page, or the beginning of the second. Hours old information.
I can clear cache, refresh the page, whatever, it's always wrong.
Why does it matter? Well it makes it MUCH easier to keep up with threads when this info is correct.
Is this cached on the server? If so, why? I'd think that nothing on this site should need to be cached; there isn't THAT much activity going on.
EDIT: It seems to actually be reasonably accurate on the root forum page (where you can see all of the sub-forums), but if you go to the sub-forum, it seems outdated still, and I did try clearing my browser cache again.
