I noticed that the FFmpeg results on http://www.linuxbenchmarking.com/?da...x-kernel-tests indicate some major change between 2016-05-18 and 2016-05-19. Does anybody know what that might be? A number of the benchmarked systems have switched relative positions as a result.
On a side note, the Haswell-E system seems to yield questionable results for the ffmpeg test... it's as if the Haswell-E is being benchmarked in single-threaded mode whereas the other CPUs are being benchmarked in multi-threaded mode.
