HowTo create/persist custom test configuration?

What's the way to config-select specific tests from some bigger tests (like fio, e.g) -so that there is no need to manually select specific tests variants in batch runs?

Sorry for being not clear: how to "build-suite" consisting e.g. from subtests: stress-ng[1,3,5], onsDNN [6,7,8], fio [xxx , yy, zz] - incl. cases of complex/multistage configs like [random read, 32mb, 8threads] ?

I understand..But what would the syntax be? just give an example based on my prior message, especially for the tio case of several possible settings, not just subtests...
