8.4 - Late April Fools Edition - Oh wait a second, we aren't fooling anybody with this anymore.

Heres a kicker for the end of the year:

8.12 - Merged with RadeonHD Edition

    Release Notes:

    - Merged all code from RadeonHD to fglrx

    Press Release:

Today we here at ATI/AMD are proud to announce tne 8.12 Catalyst driver for Linux. This is a milestone release in which we were able to squash over 10,000 outstanding bugs with a simple merge of RadeonHD code. With the great success of RadeonHD throughout the months, and its superior 2d and 3d performance and compatibility, we thought it was in best interest to do just that. However this is only a code merge, there is still old lingering fglrx code that is mostly proprietary code. Which in the 10,000 bugs squashed, we still have 10,000 more remaining which is due to the leftover proprietary code.

So here at AMD/ATI, we no longer have to do any work at all on our Linux driver (not that we ever really did in the first place!). We now just merge new RadeonHD code in as it comes. They do the work for us now. Our evil plan is now complete.
